Stuffsbymoulin is a Brazilian upcycling and original design brand founded by Vic Moulin.
Born in a favela in Rio de Janeiro and now based in São Paulo, Vic found in sewing a way to create the clothes she wanted to wear but couldn't find. What began as a need transformed into a creative language and later, the foundation of the brand.
Stuffsbymoulin arose from the desire to produce in a freer, more conscious, and original way. After years working with fashion, styling, and production, the desire to question the accelerated cycles of the industry and explore new ways of creating from what already exists was born.
The brand focuses on upcycling, customizing, and transforming pre-existing pieces. Through deconstruction, reconstruction, and manual intervention, clothes and materials gain new meanings, carrying with them layers of history, identity, and intention.
Each creation is produced on a small scale and developed using techniques such as sewing, crochet, appliqués, cutouts, and textile experimentation. The process values time, manual work, and the uniqueness of each piece, in opposition to the logic of mass production and disposable fashion.
More than just creating clothes, Stuffsbymoulin seeks to encourage a more conscious relationship with clothing, transforming everyday life into expression and showing that pieces can have more than one life.
